Financial Literacy Education 2019

PT Peak Sekuritas Indonesia held a financial literacy education at Yayasan LPK Guna Mandiri on Thursday, May 23th, 2019.

The event theme was investing in government bonds and was participated by the teachers working for the LPK. The participants' lack of knowledge in financial market, or even investing in products of financial market, have certainly been improved by the event.

Based on The Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) data, mutual fund investors grew 50.7% YoY in July 2018, reaching total of 822,221 investors. This impressive data encouraged PSI to hold a seminar investing in mutual fund. On Friday, October 26th, PSI hold its second financial literacy education seminar, presenting material "Rich and Fun with Mutual Fund".

Mr. Sudirgo, our President Director, presented the material to more than 10 attendees. Most of them have knowledge and experiences in investing, yet they feel the seminar helps them improving their investing knowledge in mutual funds.

As previous seminars, Mr. Sudirgo also included real-life application where participants were assigned to monitor mutual funds products rank. This exercise gave them a glimpse on how to adjust their mutual fund portfolio within the specific time-frame.

Financial Literacy Education #1 2018

As part of financial inclusion, PT Peak Sekuritas Indonesia hold its first in 2018, the financial education literacy on Saturday, July 28th. The presenter was our President Director, Mr. Juhono S. Sudirgo, who owns a competency of Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The theme was stock investing. 

Including in the material are investing basic, stock basic, fundamental and technical analysis. To give practical view, at the end of presentation, Mr. Juhono provided participants a view of online trading platform, including how to do basic technical analysis on the trading platform. 

Total participant was 15 persons, coming from different background and various age range. One of the participant, Synthesa, commented the seminar provided him with better insight to become better investor in stock market.

We thank you all the participants in our first financial literacy education this year and hope to see you again in our second seminar in 4Q18.
